Cristina’s surgery went well.

The doctors found more blockage in her carotid artery than what they originally anticipated – perhaps 20% more; but the surgery itself went quite well.

The operation took a bit more out of her than what she anticipated, and I think the surgeon undersold the convalescence just a bit. She has some pain in her jaw, and she still poops out quicker than she is used to. Still, she is improving, and the doctor told her yesterday that things would be back to normal in about a month.

Those who know Cristina know that a month about as well be an eternity for someone who doesn’t sit still any more than she does. I am just thankful she is all right.
